Aurora Loan Modification Process

Aurora Loan is a mortgage servicing company that mainly handles sub-prime mortgages. The Aurora loan modification program was established in 2009 as a way to help prevent the increasing number of foreclosures the company was experiencing.

Like most other programs, the Aurora loan modification program will require applicants to submit a Letter of Hardship along with proof of loss of income. During the loan modification process, applicants will need to provide further information showing ability to repay the mortgage adjusted.

The loan modification process with Aurora can take a long time. It is advisable to keep copies of all paperwork submitted and document each time contact is made with the company.
